I am a graduate of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Journalism. I also graduated from San Jacinto College and received my Associate of Arts in Theatre. Since graduation I have traveled and spent time learning a new language. I have experience working with children through my time as a PAL in high school where I had to tutor and mentor children from different schools. My experience in Theatre taught me to be comfortable speaking in front of large crowds and mastering vocal enunciation and pronunciation. I have extensive experience working with people of all ages and ethnicities through my time working in Human Resources. I find helping people and teaching them reading and writing skills to be very rewarding. In my opinion it is extremely important to be proficient in the English language in order to attain basic life skills. I truly believe that being able to read and write will take you very far and I take pride in being able to assist the next generation in succeeding.
