Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Western Governor's University. I hold a master's degree in nursing with a concentration in nursing education. I started my educational journey at Jamestown Community College, after which I sat for the NCLEX examination in New York State. Following my successful passing of the NCLEX examination, I began my career in healthcare. I have a variety of healthcare experience in both in hospital settings and out of hospital settings. I have experience in long term care, acute care, cardiology, management/leadership, and clinical instruction.
I am passionate about precepting and mentoring nursing students, providing individual tutoring and providing clinical instruction to freshmen nursing students. I have experience in teaching fundamentals of nursing including but not limited to the patient environment, safety and infection control, nursing assessment and pharmacology.
I believe that nursing is a calling, and I am passionate about helping others achieve their goal of becoming a nurse.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with family, and browsing the occasional antique shop.
