I am an experienced teacher and tutor, specializing in the natural sciences and math, including everything from theory and concepts to research methods and communication. I believe that any student who works hard can succeed in learning, and I'm committed to helping you find methods and practices that help you set and reach your goals. I know that what works for you may be different than what works for other students, and your goals might be different than what is expected from you at school. We'll work together to develop goals and find a way for you to meet them.
My passion is helping students gain a better understanding of how the natural world works, and to enable them to ask questions, find answers, and share their findings. I believe that science education can and often should be driven by hands-on learning, not rote memorization, and my teaching style is strongly influenced by the scientific method.
