I am in my third year as a Kindergarten teacher and my second year with Varsity Tutors. I am graduate of College of Saint Mary where I received my Master of Arts in Elementary Education. I have also received a Master of Arts in Music Performance and a Bachelor of Science in General Studies.

I have extensive experience working with K-2 students in the main subject areas. I also have experience teaching private flute lessons to students of all ages. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about reading and phonics instruction. My ELA instruction is highly influenced by the science of reading where I've had extensive training.
