Hello there! My name is Artis Phillips and I'm a sophomore at Amherst College majoring in Biochemistry and History. I've been tutoring for the SAT (and ACT at times) for a little over three years now. I'd say the key to studying for the SAT is consistency and a growth mindset- it sounds corny but its tru! I run track and do the 400 meter hurdles. I'm also work in a biochemistry lab and am in film club at Amherst. Last summer I was at MIT for research and the summer before that I was at Caltech. I'm new-ish to the east coast and hope to do plenty of trips to Boston and New York in the coming years!
