I am a 13 year veteran teacher in early childhood education. I graduated from the University of South Carolina Aiken with a degree in Early Childhood education. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd and kindergarten. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate reading/language arts and math. In my experience helping struggling readers I feel as if I can make a huge impact in their reading ability and teach them to love learning. I try to inspire a love for learning in all by students by making learning fun, making connections with students and showing them I truly do care about them as an individual. I enjoy young children as it is extremely rewarding to see them grow and learn. I have always wanted to be a teacher and am very passionate about teaching and helping students grow as individuals.

In my spare time, I love to travel. My family and I travel as often as we can, our favorite family vacation is to Disney world. In addition to traveling, I enjoy baking, cooking, and creating. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
