I am a graduate from Dixie State University in Southern Utah. I decided to earn my bachelors in Individualized Studies because it allowed me to design my degree and incorporate a variety of courses including child development and lifespan, sociology, psychology, nutrition, anatomy, physiology and population health. I am currently earning my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have a background as an EMT-Intermediate and an EMS and CPR Instructor. I have worked with all age groups throughout my career and have a passion for helping others learn and develop their skills. In my experience with teaching, I have learned that it is best to access where they student is at, how they learn, and how to boost their confidence while keeping them engaged in the learning process.
