I have a bachelor's degree in Music Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University and a Master's in Music from Georgia Southern University. I currently hold a Georgia Educator Certificate for P-12 Music, as well as my TEFL certifications. I am a classically trained flutist. I have been performing and teaching private music lessons for 19 years. I taught middle school band for 12 years and ESL online for 3 years. As a native English speaker, I have tutored 736 students with 4719 varying ESL classes. I have been described as a patient and encouraging teacher. My musical background provides me with a more precise and rhythmic approach to teaching correct speech and enunciation. I believe myself to be a lifelong teacher. I enjoy helping my students (of all ages and proficiency levels) succeed and accomplish their educational goals.

I enjoy many things outside of teaching and music. I have a four-year-old daughter. I love taking her to different places and experiencing new things. I also enjoy homeschooling her. I like to do many kinds of crafts. For the past few years, I’ve really gotten into embroidery (machine). I love stitching out different designs. I hope to one day, create my own designs. I enjoy the process of being creative. I think it’s exciting when you can bring your ideas to fruition.
