If you tell me your topic, I have extensive and eclectic knowledge to help you think about and effectively express your knowledge of your topic in writing. I can suggest research strategies, approaches to critical thought about your topic, and how effectively to put those thoughts into words. In other words, if you tell me a topic, I can help you write about it.

Having a MA in English from Southern Cal and a BA in English Lit from Syracuse, I can walk students through any number of writing, and critical writing about literature assignments, both of which I taught as a Teaching Assistant at USC. If nothing else, I have a literate and linear mind to help a student explore their choice of subject with reasoned and intelligent written inquiry into the puzzles posed by any endeavor to understand and to reveal truth on chosen or assigned topics.

I love to study literary and historical currents in mainly Western civilization, but I'm expanding my knowledge of the cultures of the world as I am able to find time for that. I'm a dedicated couch-potato homebody, looking for truth in literature and history wherever it may be sought and found. My self-published booklet under the Xlibris label is only $2.99 (but only about 70 pages) in digital markets. The title is "Translating the Septuagint: Six Essays on Religion and History", and discourses on several topics in the history of religion.
