I am a graduate of University of North Carolina. I received my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in math. Since graduation, I have worked in industry, raised a family, homeschooled and tutored both in ESL and ACT test prep; working more than 5,000 hours online with one-on-one ESL students looking to improve their English; working with US based high school juniors and seniors to help them achieve their graduation and/or college entrance requirements. In my experience helping students is both challenging and rewarding. I love watching my students reach their goals and succeed. I am a firm believer that education is absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart that appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy walking with my dog to explore the local creeks and trails in my area, working with wood by laser cutting and sandblasting glass.
