Hey out there! I'm a language instructor who's been teaching English for over six years. I double-majored in History and Communication while minoring in Creative Writing, earned my first Masters in Adult Education and My second Masters in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I also have 130-hour TESOL certification. Helping others and a love for people and world cultures was what originally drew me to English Language teaching. I love helping students achieve their dreams and full potential through English Language instruction. It is rewarding to give back to our global society.
Having been a language student myself, I know how daunting learning a new language can be. As a teacher, I want you to feel excited to come to class each day. I will strive to make your learning experience fun and rewarding as I expose you to new ideas, concepts, and ways of thinking about our world.
I will cater each session, materials, and themes to your interests and needs. Your interest and participation in class is just as important as the material I will teach. Whether you are in grade school, a university student, business professional or working parent, I will have you participate in varied, creative tasks to keep you motivated and engaged.
