Certified Tutor

I am currently a second year medical student. Prior to medical school I earned my Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and my Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology.
My first experience tutoring started in high school when I was encouraged by my teachers to think about tutoring in my school's summer program. That is where I first grew an appreciation for the art of teaching. While in college, I continued tutoring but on a more sporadic basis. However, it was during my Master's program that I decided to tutor as a part-time job. I have tutored in a variety of subjects including Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Social Sciences, and many others.
My passion for tutoring stems from wanting to see my students succeed. I aim to see my students gain confidence in their abilities to learn with each session. I pride myself on being flexible with my tutoring style to cater to each student. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading a good fictional book, doing yoga, meditating and listening to music or podcasts.
