I graduated from Cairn University with a B.S. and a minor in elementary education. I then taught in inner city schools for a few years. I've also homeschooled my four children, taught piano for many years and currently am teaching ESL classes on-line. I have a TEFL certificate. I am quite passionate about reading and believe that if a student has excellent reading skills, they can learn just about anything. I also love history and geography. We can learn so much from the people that have lived before us. Education is vitally important to success in life. I hope to impart an enthusiasm for learning to all of my students.

I am an artist and musician. I'm also an avid gardener with prize winning gardens. I love to walk, go to the beach, ride my bike and spent an afternoon on the lake in my kayak. These are only a few of the things that I enjoy. Life is an adventure!
