Certified Tutor

I am passionate about helping students achieve their learning potential; my belief is that all students are capable of succeeding. Sometimes all that is needed is someone to boost their confidence and help them learn how to master their techniques. In my earlier teaching career, I had the honor of preparing students who were interested in pursuing careers in health care. Presently, I have the pleasure of working with children, adolescents, and young adults in grades K-12. I received my formal education in New Orleans, LA and later attained both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Phoenix in Atlanta, GA with honors. I earned a Master of Science in Health Administration and Education as well as a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Admin and Business Marketing. I am open to tutoring students of all ages and enjoy mostly tutoring Reading, Writing, English, Science, and Social Studies. My favorite subjects are Science and Social Studies; even though I may teach these topics the capacity to always learn more in those areas inspires me. My philosophy is 'I teach because your life is worth my time' and investing my time in others yields the best returns. After assessing my students, I like to set a pace for tutoring that will be comfortable but will also challenge my students. When I am not teaching, I am off learning through my travels, crafting business, or reading for leisure.
