Michael: Kenosha tutor
Certified Tutor
I have over ten years of experience in the private and public sector working in IT, digital forensics, and cyber security. I also have taught students at a local community college for over seven years focusing on networking, security, and guiding students to help them choose a focus in IT. Recently, I received my Master of Science in Cybersecurity to broaden my area of expertise and be able to more effectively teach others.
I've always been fascinated by computers and fell in love with digital forensics and cyber security when I was looking for a career focus for myself. After I gained some experience, I realized that others that I worked with looked to me for guidance when they were having issues and that grew into an opportunity to teach students at the community college level. I found that I was very passionate in sharing my experiences and teaching others about the concepts of cyber security. Today, my focus is mentoring and leading junior members on my team and helping those getting into the field, or looking to expand their knowledge, as much as possible.
In my spare time, I enjoy my fair share of video and board games either on my own or with my family. To unplug, I like to go hiking and camping as much as the weather and time permits.
