Certified Tutor

I am an Junior undergraduate student at the University of Dallas. I am pursuing a triple major in History, English, and Classics. I tutored for my high school extensively, working with students of all ages in many different subjects. My approach is generally to provide guidance for the students to work through problems themselves. I can explain concepts or material, but everything I do will be for the purpose of leading students to be able to solve problems and do classwork themselves. My favorite subject to tutor is English because I love breaking down literature and poetry, and I love helping students work through their own analysis and interpretations. That being said, I am passionate about all of the subjects I tutor in, and one of my biggest goals is to help each of my students feel some of that passion. Outside of the academic realm, I am an NCAA cross country runner, an eagle scout, and an avid outdoorsman.
