Salve! I have taught high school Latin, levels one through AP Latin, for twenty years and am excited to share my love of classical antiquity. I am familiar with most textbook series used through out the U.S. and have taught students with a wide range of abilities. I am flexible and adapt my teaching style and materials to meet individual needs. I enjoy teaching Latin at every level but am particularly fond of introducing students to authentic Latin literature (usually level 3 and up). I strongly believe that the study of Latin can provide the foundation for further language study and help develop critical thinking skills. My goal is to help student learn how to think through problems, not simply memorize the correct answer.
