Certified Tutor

I am an alumnus of Bard College's Written Arts program, where I studied fiction under some of the most efficient and poetic writers in the academic world. These professors taught me how to channel my enthusiasm for writing into a style of engaged communal learning that aids everyone involved. I participated in many writing workshops (and started one of my own during the pandemic) where I learned that generosity of knowledge and enthusiasm is the greatest gift that one person can give another.
I believe that education is a vital investment in a person's growth and this shapes my approach to tutoring. I am excited to assist, encourage, and compassionately push my students to write as well as they can.
Writing can be as beautiful as it is vital to academic success, and my goal is to show students that by investing themselves in the practice of writing they will not only improve exam scores but also grow into more compassionate and mindful people.
In addition to writing, I have a wide variety of interests including music, visual arts, comedy, sports, politics, and technology.
