I was born and grew up in Japan. I lived in Japan for more than 30 years.
My accent is quite neutral and I don't have any regional dialects so I can provide you with getting the perfect accent.

I have studied abroad in Australia and Canada to study English, and I majored in English at college so I not only know how difficult it can be to acquire a language but also how fun and exciting it can be.

I'm generally talkative, but in my lesson, I make an atmosphere in which students feel comfortable in trying to speak without having any fear of making mistakes.
I do believe making mistakes when learning languages is a really important path to go through, so please don't be afraid to make mistakes in front of me!

I also tutor English to Japanese students online, and I love doing it. I am not a native English speaker and still a learner, but I am fully confident in my English to explain and teach things to you. But if you prefer, we can do our lessons completely in Japanese.

I cannot teach you right now...
- Classic Japanese called Koten (: I did study Koten back in school, but I have to restudy to be able to teach it to students.
