I am a 2021 graduate of The Ohio State University. I majored in Middle Childhood Education and received my Bachelor of Science in Education. I have just received my Middle Grades teaching license with concentrations in Social Studies and English Language Arts. I will begin work a teaching 6th Grade English Language Arts in the Fall. Throughout my time at The Ohio State University I have had an array experience working with students. I have completed field experiences working one-on-one with elementary students lacking grade level reading skills and working in a fourth grade classroom facilitating whole group English Language Arts instruction. I also completed a full year student teaching in a 5th Grade virtual classroom during a pandemic. I fully planned and facilitated all lessons for Social Studies and English Language Arts. I am capable and certified to teach elementary and middle school students in all realms of English Language Arts and Social Studies. It is my philosophy that all students, no matter their struggles, can be successful learners. As an educator, it is my job to provide students with individualized guidance, support, and strategies to help them reach their full potential.
