I am a native speaker of French who grew up in a French Caribbean household in New York City. I am passionate about all areas of the Francophone world, but I love discussing with my students French literature and music especially. I have been teaching French in some of the best independent schools in the country for the past six years at the middle and high school level. I have also tutored French to students privately at the middle and high school levels. I received my bachelor's degree at Wesleyan University and my master's degree at Middlebury College. I am currently working towards a second masters from New York University. I enjoy tutoring French because I love empowering students and teaching them the beauty of the language that I grew up with and know very well ! I teach using comprehensible input (music, stories, and different multimedia sources) that have my students speaking and practicing from the very first lesson.
