I am a full-time math teacher from NYC. I grew up loving math and as a teacher I watch students struggle with math at the beginning of the year and end up loving it towards the end of the year. My philosophy is "growth starts with mistakes." I teach my students that mistakes help us become better and no matter how good we are at math, we are always capable at getting better. I have taught middle school for my entire teaching career, so I believe i have a way with pre-teens. Outside of teaching I enjoy traveling, eating new foods and binge watching on Netflix. On top of teaching and tutoring, I have a small skincare line primarily consisting of natural body products. I went to SUNY Buffalo State and received a Bachelors of Art in Communication Studies and a Masters of Science in Creativity and Change Leadership. I later on went to RELAY Graduate School where I obtained a Masters of Arts in Teaching.
