Hello! I am a graduate student studying Ethnomusicology, and I have a bachelors degree in K-12 Music Education. I teach discussion sections for an undergraduate humanities course, so I work collaboratively with students on a weekly basis. Part of my duties also involve grading and coaching students on improving their college level papers. My primary area of expertise is music, however my current work is very interdisciplinary in nature, so I have substantial experience working with other areas in the humanities and social sciences. One skill I am particularly proud of is my experience working with students who are non-native English speakers and helping them to write and communicate more effectively. This is something I encounter frequently as a teacher at a large university, and have worked with specifically in the past as a teacher for English as a Foreign Language.
