Certified Tutor
I am a graduate of UW Milwaukee and received my Bachelor of Arts in English. I also obtained my Master's in Special education through a post baccalaureate program at Cardinal Stritch University.
After my oldest three children graduated high school, I became a substitute teacher and found my niche in special education. My family has a history of ADHD which helped me understand how to teach each student according to their learning style and academic strengths.
I firmly and passionately believe that each child learns in their own way and that they also need to be challenged. Building relationships with my students creates trust and increases their confidence. Daily laughter is priority! My heart is full when my students reach an academic goal and validates my purpose in my life.

I enjoy spending time with my grown children when I can and there is always a pile of books on my night stand to quench my thirst for knowledge of absolutely anything and everything. In the summer, I am on my porch in the morning with a book and coffee. The sun and outdoor breezes bring me such calm and happiness.
