I'm a recent graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles. I got my Bachelor of Science in microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics. I'm looking to tutor middle or high school level biology, college level introductory microbiology, college level introductory genetics and/or any of the ACT subjects. During my sophomore, junior and senior years at UCLA I tutored for introductory biology classes, microbiology, and genetics. It was mostly drop-in tutoring, so I'm excited to work with students over a longer period of time. Biology is a huge subject with a lot of information involved. Because of this, working on memorizing everything isn't always practical so I like to teach strategies on how to pick out the most important information and how to apply this knowledge.

During high school I swam and ran cross country. In my first year of college I was on the triathlon team. I enjoy cooking and baking. My favorite thing to bake are sourdough bread and my favorite thing to cook is eggplant lasagna. I love taking care of my house plants and all the pets I have at home. My family owns two cats (Luna and Simba), a bearded dragon (Hornsby), an anole (Quasimodo), and a saltwater fish tank. The hobby I’ve picked up during the pandemic is knitting.
