I am a Middle Grades Education major at UNC Charlotte. My concentration subjects are English and history. I have been afforded the opportunity to work with the youth on numerous occasions. I have served as the youth ministry president at my church, an Orientation Counselor, and a Resident Advisor at UNC Charlotte. Throughout my time at UNC Charlotte, I have extensively studied the adolescent brain and the most effective methods to teach content in a way that allows them to remember and retrieve what they have learned.

Helping students succeed is my passion. I am from a small town where many of our young people either drop out of school at a young age and do not attend college, due to a lack of motivation. This is the driving force behind my passion. I understand that school is hard. Therefore, I am here to show students that I understand what they are going through. I am here to help them succeed!
