I am a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry, and am now in my gap year applying for medical schools. Having learned all that I have in pursuit of my degree, I am excited to tutor all things science - Biology and Chemistry alike. If I had to choose a favorite, I would pick biology and all that falls underneath. I love learning about the whys and hows of living processes around and in us! There is always more to know.

My goal is simply to help you learn something new, no matter how big or small, and walk away with new understanding. To reach that goal, I like to keep things conversational and facilitate back-and-forth discussion so you can practice verbalizing what you're thinking. While I am here to help you learn new things, I'd like to approach it as partnering with you to reach your goals. I've been in your shoes and understand the struggles, so I am motivated to do anything I can to help you succeed.

Outside of academia, I like to spend my time volunteering any way I can. Throughout college, I spent many hours volunteering at hospitals, fundraising events, and camps for kids. In addition to volunteering, I was also a leader for a campus ministry for two years, played violin in an ensemble for 7 semesters, and competed in state/national health competitions.

During my gap year, I am currently involved with various organizations to teach English to individuals around the world and tutor science to students in under-served communities.
