I am a teacher at heart! I have dedicated nearly 30 years to teaching and learning. I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Special Education and then pursued a Master's in Elementary Education. I have worked extensively with English learners and elementary students. In 2015, I completed my doctorate in Teacher Education/Curriculum and Instruction and continue to work with undergraduate students and lateral entry teachers. I believe in building relationships, utilizing student interests and experiences, and using a variety of teaching and learning methods to reach my students.
