Upon graduating from high school, I attended Bryan College for 4 years and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After working at the college for several years, I accepted a teaching position at a small, private school and taught junior high students for 8 years. I taught a variety of subjects, but my primary focus was on math and English. In 2013 I returned to school to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant and graduated in 2015 with an Associate of Applied Science degree. Although I'm no longer teaching full-time, I enjoy having the opportunity to work with students as a tutor. One-on-one and small group settings best suit my personality and teaching philosophy as I feel it's important to cater to individual learning styles as much as possible. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, exercising, and sports.
