Certified Tutor

I am a recent high school graduate as a member of the class of 2020. I'm currently in my first semester of college at the University of Maryland- College Park. My intended majors are computer science and government and politics. I have a strong passion for education as I love learning and I hope to spread the knowledge I have gained to as many others as possible. This is why it is my dream to one day be a professor. I first started my teaching and mentoring journey in high school where I was both a tutor and kick-off mentor to the freshman class. I have the most experience in mathematics and programming as I have spent the majority of my time trying to master the various components that comprise these fields. This includes proficiency in algebra as well as calculus and pre-calculus. Additionally, I have extensive knowledge in both C# and Java. I value my student's individual needs and find creative ways to adjust to each student's way of learning. When I'm not studying or tutoring, I am probably playing volleyball with my friends or watching Netflix. I also have a strong interest in politics.
