I have Bachelor's degrees in English and Psychology from the University of Michigan, as well as a Master's degree in Education from the University of Michigan Dearborn. I am certified to teach English, Psychology, and English as a Second Language. I taught 6th grade Language Arts for 3 years, and I absolutely loved it! The majority of students that I taught spoke English as a Second Language. I am passionate about helping students develop confidence in their abilities as readers and writers. I believe that being a confident and effective communicator and analyst gives a individual the power to have their voice heard and create positive change with their lives. I love working on reading and writing skills because I have seen time and time again how developing these skills can change a person's academic confidence.
