Certified Tutor

I recently graduated from Johns Hopkins University where I earned a Bachelors of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology. While at Johns Hopkins, I worked in a research lab at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and tutored/mentored a high school student from Baltimore. In the three years that I tutored this student, his grades rose from a D average to a B average, and he was able to catch up to his peers and was on track to graduate on time. Of the subjects I tutor, my favorites are Algebra (1 or 2) and Biology. I also enjoy helping students prep for standardized exams because I know how stressful they can be, and it's so rewarding to be able to help a student feel prepared and do their best on test day!
