I've been a middle school science teacher for 3 years and I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education. I love science because I had a lot of questions about the world around me and I wanted to know the answers. What I've realized since then is that not knowing the answer is half the fun. Something I tell my students every year is 'It's okay to not know. Otherwise, I wouldn't even need to teach you!" I believe that failure is the best teacher and there's always another way to learn. I came from the Philippines speaking minimal English. I find power in visuals and graphics and sound. I am patient and I am ready to try what it takes to get the learning goal across. Is it a surprise that one of my favorite teachers is Ms. Frizzle?
