I am a senior at The University of Alabama and currently majoring in accounting on the premed track. I have tutored students in Economics, Organic Chemistry, and the MCAT. In addition to my tutoring experience, I lead a class of volunteers to teach prisoners business skills that they can use upon release. I am drawn to teaching because as a child I struggled with learning disabilities that I was able to overcome thanks to many mentors and teachers. I enjoy seeing the "Ah-ha" moment when any student finally understands a concept. Currently, I am mainly focused on tutoring MCAT. What I enjoy about the MCAT is how it connects all of my basic sciences from general chemistry to physiology and allowed me to understand those subjects more deeply. My goal in every student is to teach students how to teach themselves because I want my students to become lifelong learners. Outside of the classroom I enjoy running, swimming, fishing, and playing videogames when I have the time.
