Certified Tutor

I am a current Sophomore at Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in chemistry with a concentration in biochemistry. I am working for my Bachelors Degree, and planning to continue my education for an MD in the future. I have tutored since high school in subjects such as algebra, calculus, SAT math, and chemistry. I have also been an active tutor for the Core Connections Tutoring Program for three years during high school, where I tutored middle school students in math. While tutoring, I like to be repetitive to make sure my student is proficient in an area, and I like to guide the student so that he/she can try to figure out the problem on their own before asking for help. I like to use my student's thought process to see how they learn best and to determine what is the best teaching style for them. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, baking, and watching Netflix/ Hulu.
