As a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in English Education, I am excited about the opportunity to apply my skills and experience in a tutoring environment. In addition to my degree and field experience at the high school level, I also had the pleasure to work with students of all ages abroad, teaching them English. After teaching abroad I began teaching secondary English (grades 5 - 12) at a private school that specializes in teaching students with various learning disabilities and behavioral disorders. I believe that every student deserves patience and enthusiasm placed in their education. My best teachers were ones that took time with me, challenged me, and encouraged me. They are the reason I became a teacher myself, and I hope to share that same kind of passion with the students I work with. I look forward to expanding my own horizons as a teacher and working with students in order to expand their own knowledge.
