I have never been able to chose between science and the arts, between numbers and music, between my left brain or my right. Since high school, I have entered the Shakespeare competition and the science fair, I have written musicals and lab reports, I have imitated writers and shadowed doctors. The rest of my life I hope to foster my love for both subjects.
I feel that no learning should be isolated. The person who gets a PhD in physics may love painting. The person who overcomes the difficulties of chemistry may love the chemical reactions in cooking. In tackling a subject, the goal is to combine it with what you enjoy and to have fun while learning with others.
As a tutor, I will facilitate this kind of fun and active engagement with the material. I have had previous experience tutoring organic chemistry, being a camp-counselor, leading bible studies, and facilitating organic chemistry review sessions. I would love to learn about you and your interests and help you accomplish your goals.
