I am a political economist and business project manager who loves helping people learn and grow!
I have a BA and MA in Political Science from William and Mary and UNC, but studied computer programming, economics, and applied statistics in my courses. I've spent my career promoting data-driven decision making across industries, with everything from an election forecast to predicting mortality risks.
I began tutoring mathematics during my high school years, and want to work to bring my knowledge of statistics and business savvy to others. My teaching style involves meeting people where they are and trying to find real-world examples for the concepts they need to learn.
In my spare time, I volunteer with a number of organizations. I also like to hike and play piano.
