Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Michigan State University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Human Development & Family Studies. After graduation, I gave a year of service with an AmeriCorps program called City Year. During that year, I served over 1700 hours as a tutor and mentor to students in under resourced communities in hopes that the connection and assistant I provided would assist them in advancing towards graduation. I chose to move from Michigan to Dallas to serve with City Year because I am a firm believer in the idea that every student can learn, and having a quality education can provide opportunities for growth and prosperity. I have a passion for seeing students learn and succeed in the classroom. I will bring creative ways to help my student understand and feel confident in their abilities while tailoring my approach to their individual learning style.
