Certified Tutor

I graduated from the Mico Teachers' College with a teachers' certification. Upon completion of my course of study, I taught Language Arts and Literature in Kingston, Jamaica. I later completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in English at Nyack College. Since then, I have enjoyed teaching a wide range of subjects to students from elementary to high school. Throughout my teaching career, I have most enjoyed teaching language arts to all students, as well as math at the elementary level. I believe every child should be given a fair chance to develop a love for learning, by having the learning experience presented to him or her in a fun, exciting, appealing, though challenging manner. As a published author, I am passionate about writing, and I am at my best when I am engaged in a writing project. In addition, I find reading both intellectually stimulating and enriching to the soul. Therefore, in my spare time, you will find me either on my Kindle, listening to an engrossing book on Audible, or curled up with a good old-fashioned paperback. During the additional part of my spare time, I may be seen going for a brisk, invigorating walk or baking sweet bread or muffins to share with family and friends.
