Certified Tutor

I am currently a homeschooling mom of 4 kiddos, ages 3 to 14. I have been at home with my kids for 14 years now, and having taught them myself from the beginning, I have learned so much from that experience and from them. In addition to my own children, I also teach GRAMMAR, WRITING, and MATH to 4th through 6th grade students in our homeschool copy every week for the last 4 years. My passion is engaging students to learn to love learning by making it fun! I am known for my high energy level, playing games in class, and putting everything to song! Because my own kids' learning styles, personality, and attention spans vary so much, I have had to mix up how I present new material to each of them. I've applied that same technique of "mixing things up" to teaching the multiple grade levels in our co-op; not to mention, the parents are also in class with their student so I have to engage the adults as well...in addition to multiple grades, all in one class period! I love language arts and math! I love grammar and writing! I love geography and history! I can't wait to share my excitement with your elementary or middle school student!!
