As a 20 year veteran educator, I have the belief that not one kind of teaching style and/or curriculum is the right fit for every child. Students and their learning success cannot be place in one box. I believe that all students find their strengths in specific learning styles as well as learning environments. When I teach, I teach the whole child. Every lesson I create is student-centered to meet the needs, goals, learning styles, emotional seasons, and much more. About a year ago, I left the brick and mortar setting so that I could put my energy into lessons that meet the needs of individual learners, allowing me to both teach classes online as well as tutor students so that they can obtain academic success!
