Certified Tutor

I am currently a first year doctor of chiropractic student, working on my doctorate as well as a masters in clinical nutrition. I have received my bachelors from the university of New Mexico in physical anthropology and Biology. I have been tutoring officially for about 6 months and previously would tutor my younger siblings and friends with material they had trouble with.

I currently tutor in subjects pertaining to anatomy and physiology, biology, NASM test prep, and exercise science related subjects.
I believe in a positive based tutoring system that deals with active recall and spaced repetition to truly help the student remember and retain information rather than just memorizing it for a short amount of time. Helping guide students through questions and problems so they can learn how to approach and break down the questions is something I focus on with a-lot of my students as well as finding fun tricks to remember terms. Learning should be fun most of the time.

I have worked as a personal trainer, yoga teacher, and physical therapy tech, and absolutely love helping others become better versions of themselves, which is why I enjoy tutoring so much!
