Certified Tutor

I am a 2019 graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychological Biology and along the way pioneered a variety of community initiatives, from Mathematics tutoring for elementary students to general academic counseling for high school students, as well as Health and Wellness support for college students. I am most passionate about providing guidance in the Sciences (especially health-related) as well as more general Math and Literature. What I consider to be my most important value when it comes to education is being able to truly align with what you learn by finding a sense of purpose and joy in the mastery of even the most challenging of subjects. In other words, I aim for tutoring to not only be an aid for mental understanding but an avenue for turning the subject at hand into a fulfilling part of the overall life of the scholar. Therefore, I also work well with those who may be struggling with self-esteem and motivational issues as a result of academic struggles. In my spare time, I enjoy meditating, practicing yoga, and doing freelance research.
