Sean recently earned his bachelors in computer engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has training in machine learning, parallel computing, and computer architecture. He also has experience in math through multivariate calculus, linear algebra, graph theory, and number theory. He has physics training in classical and quantum mechanics, electricity and magnetism, and special relativity. His goal is to educate students by providing real-life examples to provide meaning to the content that they are learning and focuses on the broad picture in the hope that the student can derive results on their own instead of relying on calculators and formula sheets. He incorporates technology into his teaching whenever possible as a positive resource for developing understanding. He also has training in writing scientific papers and technical writing.
