I've been fortunate to have amazing teachers in my life. Teachers that made learning a fascinating endeavor and framed new material as an exciting challenge rather than a frightening unknown. I strive to promote a similar mindset and form of mentorship to the students I tutor.

With experience tutoring students one-on-one in calculus, discrete math, and physics, I understand the importance of customized, personal direction. I am a rising senior at Lafayette College where I am working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, as well as a CRLA Peer Tutor Certification in my spare time. During my college career, I've been selected to serve as a teacher's assistant and lab assistant for statistics, and as a study group facilitator for calculus and physics.

I seek to share new and exciting challenges in the domains of math, science, and technology. With experience programming both inside and outside the classroom in a variety of languages, I have a strong history of self-teaching and learning.

I understand that every student has their own learning style. Whether it be visual, auditory, reading and writing, or kinesthetic, I can cater to the student's preferences. Personally, I am a visual learner and I find that there's nothing better than a diagram to assist with solving a problem in science, technology or math. Any problem can be broken down and solved with enough patience and thinking.

I am looking to tutor students in Python or C, the two languages in which I have the most experience.

In my free time I am an avid musician, music producer, and mixer, supplemented by years of experience and time in the Music Technology classroom. I enjoy attending a physics club once a week at Lafayette where we explore various interesting concepts through group discussion. I have been on the Dean's list every semester of college.
