Certified Tutor

My name is Jack Tolson, and I am a rising junior at Duke University. I have always enjoyed teaching and offering guidance to younger students, and I am particularly interested in tutoring students in the humanities and social sciences as I am extremely passionate about these fields and hope to encourage my students to feel the same way while achieving their goals. I am currently majoring in political science with a minor in history, and getting a certificate in Jewish Studies. I am also a member of the Duke Office of Undergraduate Education's student advisory board and the Duke student alumni board, as well as a research assistant at the Sanford School of Public Policy. I am particularly interested in international relations, and my focus within Political Science is Security, Peace and Conflict.
