Certified Tutor

I graduated this year from Boston University with a BA in psychology and medical sciences, and I will attend Boston University School of Medicine starting this August.

I have tutoring experience from working at Kumon, which is an in person tutoring service. Additionally, I taught children in my community how to read, write, and speak Hindi. In both positions, I worked with children of different ages and learning styles.

I tutor math, science, and social science. My favorite subject to tutor is psychology because I find it so interesting, especially because you can use the subject itself to learn more about it. For example, learning about the way that our brains processes and remembers information allows for application to real life and studying habits.

I will do my best to ensure that every student of mine can improve in their desired subject and apply the techniques they have learned during our lessons to other subjects as well.

Outside of school, I love to dance; I've completed classical Indian dance training, and I was on a garba-raas team for the past two years. I also love to express myself through drawing and playing music. I'm not very good with words, so I love using other means as creative outlets.
