I am a senior undergraduate student studying Psychology and Sociology at Loyola University. In the future, I would like to pursue a doctorate degree to treat different mental illnesses as it is my sincere desire to help people and children reverse the symptoms of mental disorders. Currently I work with young children with Autism as a Behavioral Technician, helping with school subject and teaching life and social skills using Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy techniques. This way I combine my studies of Psychology along with my love for working with kids learning middle and high school subjects. I especially like to help with writing for almost any subject or level being very familiar with college essays and psychology and sociology research papers.
I am also native in Russian language, reading, and writing. In my Russian community I work as an instructor in its summer camp for children ages 8 to 16. At the camp I am working on creating teaching materials for Russian language, Russian History and culture, survival skills, and religion; so these too have become some of my absolute favorite subjects to teach!
I think that education is extremely important for the opportunities it allows, using it as a tool to give back to the world, and learning to understand and appreciate one's own culture and how it relates to others. I really believe that the subjects I have chosen to study reflect and strengthen my own path in achieving these values.
