I am committed to enabling the potential in each student. I graduated from Duke University with a bachelor of science in economics with a minor in political science. While at Duke I tutored college, middle, and high school students in math, reading, social studies, philosophy, and academic research methods.

Shortly after graduation I had the privilege of serving as an instructor for Duke Talent Identification Program (T.I.P). In this role I created and taught curriculum for advanced middle and early high school students.

These experiences have shaped my educational approach of defining measurable goals and providing relevant examples to help solidify material.

In my free time I enjoy playing music and making movies with friends. I've played cello, guitar, bass and piano since I was 10 and love talking story structure with anyone willing to listen.

Throughout my life I have been blessed with mentors and tutors who have empowered me. Therefore, the work I do is a natural extension of a life dedicated to giving others the tools to help themselves. Thank you for the opportunity to play a small part in a lifetime of learning.
